Laura Browning Bridges - In Memoriam

Montgomery County, GA, Newspaper Clippings, March 12, 1908.On Friday the 28th ult., about 12 pm, the death angel visited the home of Bro. John W. Bridges and took from him a true and affectionate wife, and from his children a kind and loving mother, from Sardis Baptist Church a good member, and from the community one of our best neighbors. Sister Laura Bridges was born October 5, 1868, in Laurens County, Georgia, and was brought to this county when 12 years old, and at the age of 20 she joined the Sardis Church.
